It’s apparent from the moment you pick up Gameloft’s Modern Combat 4
that this is the best-looking title the mobile gaming giant has created
yet.
Some changes are immediately noticeable if you’re paying attention –
motion blur now accentuates key moments of fast-paced action and
particle effects enhance the look and feel of explosions and bullet
impacts.
Other visual improvements are less immediately noticeable, but no
less critical to improving the game’s visual fidelity. Havok physics are
now put to good use creating dynamic enemy death animations, replacing
the Goldeneye-style canned kill animations that stood out like a sore
thumb in last year’s Modern Combat 3.
